Oct 20, 2016: Anchor Electricals, India’s leading electrical accessories manufacturer, has launched anextensive range of Panasonic LED luminaires for trade and professional lighting market in Delhi. The new range of Panasonic LED products is aimed to appeal industrial, outdoor and hospitality sectors

With the launch of new range of products, Anchor Electricals aims to sharpen its development strategy in the Indian market to cover at least 5% of the LED market share in India in future.

The professional lighting product series consists of ‘Neue Archi’ range, particularly for the Indian market. This architectural LED series features superior thermal management technology, high UV and corrosion resistance properties, specially designed transparent thermoplastic diffuser and robust housing.

Further, the professional range consists of LED luminaires with long operational efficiencies to the series of energy efficient electronic drivers, high 2.5 KV surge protection and 50,000 burning hours.

Addressing the media at the launch, Dinesh Aggarwal, joint managing director, Anchor Electricals, said that the company aims to reinforce its production capacity and product range, to meet the growing demand for energy efficient LED lighting from professional as well as residential lighting sector.

Aggarwal further said that hospitality segment in India has registered maximum adoption of LED solutions and the hold of the sector in the professional lighting segment will be prevalent in the near future as well.

“There is a strong realization among the hospitality segment about the benefits of LED lighting not just in terms of the quality of lighting, but also in terms of the savings in energy consumption,” he said.

Through professional lighting the company can create a technology differentiator. Trade lighting has become extremely commoditized across the globe, where forming a technology differentiator and get the pricing is not easy. Thus, the company will now concentrate on capitalizing their strengths and increase the professional lighting market, Aggarwal added.

The company aims to grow the overall LED market to Rs 4500 to 5000 million in the next three years. With the targeted development, Anchor Electricals will increase its professional lighting segment share in the overall business to 70%, which at present stands at 60:40, in support of trade lighting.
