ECIL distributes LED lamps to tribals in Hyderabad

June 1, 2016: As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Electronics Corporation of India Limited Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) distributed LED lamps to the tribals of Phakir Tikia Thanda in Ghatkesar mandal on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

Dr Shekhar Basu, the Secretary Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) who was the chief guest commended ECIL’s contribution in assisting the underprivileged segments of society.

Basu acknowledged and praised ECIL’s CSR efforts offering physical infrastructure. Schools in Kamalanagar, Nagavaram, Rampally and Chiryal were acknowledged as the best ones by the state government.

Two girls, Yasmin Khatoom from ZPHS Rampally and Anjali from ZPHS Nagavaram described as to how their school’s computer education and infrastructure was as similar like corporate schools owing to ECIL’s CSR activities. For this event, director of AMD Dr A K Rai, Chief Executive of NFC N Saibaba and CMD of ECIL P Sudhakar were also invited .
