July 10, 2017: Taiwan-based Chang Hao Industrial Technology Co Ltd has developed a new technology that can horizontally emit light from a motorbike headlamp, even when the motorbike is tilted.

The new technology helps to keep directing the light at a certain area by, without changing the direction of the light. This improves visibility and safety of night driving.

The headlamp with the new technology combines an LED lamp mechanism with an inclination sensor and a motor. The embedded inclination sensor detects the inclination of a motorbike, and when the motor rotates the LED lamp mechanism is kept horizontal. If a motorbike is tilted to right when it takes a right turn, the LED lamp mechanism rotates to left, and vice versa.

The new technology helps the motorbike to rotate the LED lamp mechanism with the motor to control light distribution.
