Raytec unveils zone 2 bulkhead and floodlight luminaires

Philips Lighting intends to repurchase 2.8 m shares from Royal Philips

Nov 30, 2017: Raytec has launched new IP67-rated floodlight and bulkhead luminaires, designed for zone 2 applications.

Whilst zone 2 LED luminaires are often self-certified, both of the new Spartan zone 2 products are third party certified to the latest, dedicated zone 2 standard – ‘Ex ec mc/nR op is’.

The new zone 2 flood and bulkhead products include all of the core Spartan features and benefits including the ability to be specified as an emergency fitting. The bulkhead’s thermal management technology ensures a lifetime of 10 years+ while providing a lumen output of up to 2,750 delivered lumens (from 37W). The new Spartan zone 2 flood lights are available with light outputs up to 11,000 lumens.
