September 26, 2014: Sabic?s technology centre in Bengaluru hosts over 300 scientists. Saudi Arabian petrochemical major Sabic?s $100-mn technology centre in Bengaluru is one of 17 Sabic global R&D centres of excellence. It carries out cutting-edge research on new platforms for next-generation materials.
The state-of-the-art Sabic Technology Center (STC) which was opened in Bengaluru on November 29, 2013, is built with an initial investment of $ 100 million. The STC, with an area of 187,000 sqm, is home to over 300 scientists from India.
