Jan 22, 2016: Korean Times reported that electronics giant Samsung Electronics shot another arm in showcasing their superiority when they displayed a transparent organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display video wall at the BMW Driving Center in Yeongjong Island, Incheon. Officials at Samsung further divulge plans to develop and release more diverse commercial displays, while making the use of transparent OLED technology.

Division head Kim Seok-ki of video display department stated that they will continue to make new innovations in product development besides creating benchmark transparent OLED technology. He further added to provide variance in displays to meet demand from the commercial sector in the future.
In a technological display, Samsung Electronics set up 55-inch transparent OLED displays in the form of a large video wall. This, in turn will promote BMW’s cars too. Revealing the details, the company stated that the type of display supports a 45 percent transparency rate and 100 percent Adobe RGB color. The unique feature which this OLED display will offer is allowing visitors to look up information on a car as if they are driving the car without actually having to do so. It expects that the display will be particularly effective in promoting capabilities and functions of new cars.
