To serve the all-purpose lighting, LED lights have successfully been used in the subsequent layers of accent and task lighting. However, it is with accent lighting that LED lights have the most useful application.

?We will take an example for that. Lighted area can be easily adjusted in size, color or direction as track lighting is often used for accent lighting,” said Terry McGowan.

“There are some new types of LED track lighting which are designed to be adjusted by hand to change the color or size of the light beam, and there are even fixture types with built-in adjusting systems that can be operated by a remote or a mobile app,? he added.

The latest breakthrough involves not only controlling the lighting to turn it on or off but can be kept dim as well.
