Jan 11, 2017: Milton Keynes Stadium witnessed UK’s first Wi-Fi-enabled streetlighting installation. It chose to install the Shuffle by Schréder, a smart, modular and interactive column developed to encourage social connectivity in public areas. Shuffle includes LED lighting technology alongwith cameras, speakers, internet connectivity and a range of charging applications.

The Schréder Shuffle includes a 360o 16 LED light, closed-circuit television (CCTV) and a public address (PA) speaker for match day announcements and WIFI connectivity. The modular of the Shuffle can be upgraded at any point to include additional functionality such as mobile device charging, specialist advertising features, etc.

Adam Rice, marketing manager at Schréder comments: “The Shuffle offers visitors to Stadium MK multiple connected services integrated in a single lighting column. As well as removing the need to create separate solutions, it presents a more modern and iconic face to the MK Dons Box Office and Superstore.”
